Federal Consumer Agency to Hold Event on Forced Arbitration
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will hold a field hearing on March 10 in Newark, N.J. The topic? Forced arbitration. The Bureau is expected to release its final report that examines the use of predispute arbitration clauses in financial services and products under its jurisdiction. After the study’s release, the Bureau will be authorized to prohibit forced arbitration clauses in these products. RSVP to attend. Prepare for the field hearing.
